Who are PA and NPs?

Both physician assistants (PAs) and nurse practitioners (NPs) are master’s prepared healthcare providers who diagnose, treat, and prescribe in all medical specialties. The main difference between them is that physician assistants study general medicine, while nurse practitioners study advanced practice nursing in a specified population.
